holiday homegirls.

hey y'all.
happy holidays
and these are my homegirls.
but really, over the past few months of my first semester at BYU, i have made AMAZING friends. i feel as if some of the people i have met, will be long term friends that i will have for life. these girls in these photos especially. i'm so grateful to have Sydney as my roommate- she is awesome and helps me with everything, and literally everything.
annelise, lauren, & gretchen.. where do i even begin?
these girls have impacted me in so many ways.
to start off, annelise is so genuine. during finals week, she noticed i had been struggling with one of my classes and she stepped in so willingly and offered to help me study for possibly my hardest test of the semester. she wasn't even enrolled in this class! this sweet girl sat down with me everynight for several hours imbedding information in my brain, reading my text book, and translating complicated concepts to me. she truly is so awesome for this and i dont know how i could ever repay her for this.
gretchen, oh this girl! she is a crack up. she always makes me laugh! she owns about 27 ugly christmas sweaters so props to her for sponsoring these pictures. she tries so hard in school and always manages to knock on our door at 12:30 am to tell Sydney and I all about her day and potential baes. she makes bomb lasagna and her contagious laugh is sure to make anyone smile.
lastly, lauren. lauren here is about to serve the Lord in Vancouver Canada for the next 18 months. it was so amazing to have gotten to know this girl. she is so engulfed with the spirit and every word out of her mouth is just so kind and exemplary. she influenced me to become a better person, and made me realize that how i thought i was putting the gospel and my Heavenly Father first was important, was more than just important. it is the most vital thing in life. lauren served as our relief society president (she taught us women of our building) and literally every Sunday you could just see a radiant glow come off of her. she is amazing and the people in Canada are so lucky to gain her in their territory!
this semester was a blast and a half. i don't know what i would have done without all of the friends i have made and the girls that impacted the past four months of my life the most. i'm so grateful for all of them and this winter semester better not disappoint!
thanks for reading this post.
